AdaIn Technologies Limited respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. It follows the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Our products have their own privacy notices, which apply to the data handled through those products.

AdaIn Technologies Limited, registration number RC 1773669, is a company registered in Nigeria with its office at Enspire Hub, Maitama, Abuja. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and through enquiries made to us.
For some products, we or a partner organisation may act as controller or as processor. The notice for that product will say which.

Information we collect
Through this website we collect the following.
- Information you give us. When you use our contact form or write to us, we collect your name, organisation, email address, telephone number and your message.
- Technical information. Our servers record your internet protocol address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit.
- Business information. If you deal with us as a client, partner, supplier or investor, we hold your contact and professional details and records of our contracts and payments.
We do not use this website to collect sensitive information such as health details. Please do not send it to us through the contact form. This website is not meant for children under eighteen.
Our products collect more, as their own notices explain. Some of it, such as health and financial information, is handled with extra care.
How we use it
We use personal data only where the law allows, and for these purposes.
- To reply to your enquiries. This is in our legitimate interests and helps us act at your request.
- To provide and manage our services and perform our contracts.
- To meet our legal and regulatory duties.
- To keep our systems secure and to prevent fraud and abuse. This is in our legitimate interests.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it. Where the law requires your consent, we ask for it first.
- To send you updates you have asked for. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
We do not sell personal data.
Sharing and transfers
We share personal data only where needed, and only with the following.
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as hosting, email and software providers. They must protect the data and use it only on our instructions.
- Partner organisations involved in delivering a product to you.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors and insurers, who owe us a duty of confidentiality.
- Regulators, courts and law enforcement, where the law requires or allows it.
- A buyer or successor, if our business or part of it is sold or restructured.
This website is hosted by Hostinger. Personal data may therefore be stored or processed in countries outside Nigeria. When we transfer personal data outside Nigeria, we do so only as the Nigeria Data Protection Act allows. That means transfers to a country recognised as providing adequate protection, transfers protected by suitable safeguards such as contracts, or transfers that you have agreed to after being told of the risks.
Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as the law requires. Enquiries are kept while we deal with your request and any follow up. Records that the law requires us to keep, such as tax, accounting and financial regulation records, are kept for the period the law sets. When we no longer need personal data, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you have the right to do the following.
- Ask whether we hold your personal data and receive a copy.
- Ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your data, or to limit how we use it.
- Object to our use of your data, including for marketing.
- Receive your data in a common electronic format and ask us to send it to another organisation.
- Withdraw consent you have given.
- Ask for a person to review any decision made about you only by automated means, where it has a significant effect on you.
- Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
To use any of these rights, use our contact form and choose Data protection. We may need to confirm who you are first. We aim to reply within thirty days. Your rights have limits set by law. If we cannot do what you ask, we will explain why.
If a data breach is likely to harm you, we will tell you and the Commission as the law requires.
