About the role
As a Senior Cloud and DevOps Engineer, you will help us keep our platforms running, secure and recoverable. You will lead people and take responsibility for results in your area, and you will report to the Head of Department.
What you will get to do
- Own infrastructure architecture, resilience and security across the group.
- Select hosting and tooling providers and manage those relationships.
- Mentor engineers and report on risk and cost to senior management.
- Represent AdaIn professionally with customers, partners and regulators.
- Develop the people around you and plan for their succession.
To succeed in this role, we think you should have
- Seven or more years of relevant experience, including leadership of people or of major projects.
- Deep experience in cloud architecture, resilience and security.
- Honesty, and care with confidential information.
- The ability to work with colleagues from different functions.
What success looks like in this role
- Within six months, you set a clear direction for your area.
- Within a year, you have improved results and developed the people around you.
