About the role
As a Junior Software Developer, you will help us build and improve the web and mobile products that our businesses run on. You will work as part of a team under a Team Lead.
What you will get to do
- Build and fix features in our web and mobile products under the guidance of a senior developer.
- Write clean code and automated tests for the tasks you are given.
- Document your work and take part in code reviews.
- Follow our policies on data protection and confidentiality.
- Ask for help early and learn from feedback.
To succeed in this role, we think you should have
- A diploma, degree or equivalent, and up to two years of relevant experience, or a strong record of relevant projects.
- Fluency in at least one programming language, and a good grasp of version control, application programming interfaces and databases.
- Honesty, and care with confidential information.
- The ability to work with colleagues from different functions.
What success looks like in this role
- In your first three months, you complete your assigned work to the agreed standard.
- In your first year, you work with less supervision and are trusted with larger tasks.
