About the role
You will own technology across the AdaIn group and report to the Chief Executive Officer. Applications for this role are handled in confidence.
What you will get to do
- Set technology strategy and architecture across our products.
- Build, lead and develop the engineering organisation.
- Own information security, resilience and data protection compliance.
- Make decisions on hosting, vendors and technology partners.
- Report to the Chief Executive Officer and the board on technology matters.
To succeed in this role, we think you should have
- Ten or more years of relevant experience, with substantial time leading engineering teams.
- Experience in financial technology, health technology or another regulated sector.
- The ability to explain complex technical risk to a board in plain terms.
- Honesty, and care with confidential information.
- The ability to work with colleagues from different functions.
What success looks like in this role
- Within six months, you have assessed our systems and agreed a technology plan with the Chief Executive Officer.
- Within a year, our platforms are measurably more reliable and secure, and the engineering team is stronger.
